IGGY & THE STOOGES to release re-union live album! Iggy & the Stooges release 'Telluric Chaos' live album 30 years after 'Metallic KO', the infamous "last-ever" Stooges gig album (Skydog/Jungle). Iggy & the Stooges reunited in 2003, almost 30 years after a notorious, riotous final gig where they got bottled on stage while Iggy traded insults with a biker gang. That live show was famously documented on the 1976 album 'Metallic KO' on Skydog Records, issued just as punk was breaking out, cementing Iggy's 'Godfather Of Punk' reputation. Now, Iggy releases a live album of the reunited Stooges, fittingly again on Skydog Records (thru Jungle). 'Telluric Chaos' is recorded in Tokyo on March 24th 2004, and features The Stooges still in electrifying form, playing many of their classics plus some new Stooges numbers from the 'Skull Ring' album and the world premiere of a brand new Stooges number, 'My Idea Of Fun'. Coinciding with the release, Iggy plays European festivals in Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Belgium and the UK. The album heralds a new phase in the pioneering French Skydog label's history. Starting out in 1972, with a catalogue also boasting MC5, New York Dolls, Flamin' Groovies and more recently Thee Michelle Gun Elephant, now alongside the Stooges album are releases by Portuguese rock sensation 'Wraygunn' and exotic Japanese girl punk band '54 Nude Honeys'. Skydog releases are available through Jungle. Iggy & The Stooges live festivals:
