Overview
Punk bank who recorded for Conflict's Mortarhate label in the early 80's. They were one of the first groups to take stage at anti fascist festivals and this was their many causes singer Mark was/is heavily involved in groups such as red action and anti fascist action etc. They covered all subjects from anarchist left wing ideals to animal rights sexism etc. Inspired heavily by Crass with whom they gigged often and great mates with Conflict coming from the south east London area. Steve and Mandy from conflict also joined Liberty and are present on this recording and Colin from conflict also lends vocal support. Went on to tour Europe and play with The Levellers, Paul Weller and other mainstream acts.
