Key members of legendary dark-wave band FIELDS OF THE NEPHILIM have teamed up behind a new singer/guitarist/songwriter to form NFD and now release their debut album 'NO LOVE LOST' this October.

Tony Pettitt, Nephilim founder-bassist joined NFD after the recent 'Fallen' album sessions ended in 2002, excited to be with an active gigging band again. Drummer Simon Rippin, formerly of Sensorium, The Nefilim and Fields Of The Nephilim touring band, and vocalist/guitarist Peter 'Bob' White, who previously fronted London band Sensorium, complete NFD's core. Two more guitarists augment the trio: Chris Milden and Stephen Carey, giving Bob unfettered freedom to move around on stage. And as a further treat for Nephilim fans, original Nephilim guitarist Peter Yates guests on three tracks on slide guitar.

NFD launched live in London last summer alongside a single, 'Break The Silence' followed by Edinburgh's 'Dark City' Festival, and UK supports with the Mission, spurring features in Meltdown and Kaleidoscope magazines. In Germany they've had huge interest, headlining the second stages at both Herbsnachte and Zillo Festivals, gaining a formidable reputation. They've had regular features in the press there in Orkus, Zillo, Gothic and Sonic Seducer magazines. Sonic Seducer have already reviewed 'No Love Lost', awarded it 9/10 and dubbed it: 'Possibly THE gothrock album of the year'.

'No Love Lost', which was recorded at Foel Studios, Wales, in the Spring, will be released in a digipak format. The album abounds with NFD's unique epic rock style, inevitably with references to the Nephilim's evocative sound.
